My main media server consist of a MSI Pro Z-690-A motherboard. It has a LGA-1700 12th gen intel i7-12700K processor and 32GB of DDR-4 crucial memory with the heatsink. This processor is a 12 core 20 thread processor and also has intel quick sync that works very well for video transcoding and can transcode muliple video streams at a time with even breaking a sweat. This server is running headless I access it using Real VNC it has 24TB of storage with movies, tv shows, music and other data. I have Plex, Emby, Jellyfin and qBittorrent running on this server. I have a couple of friends and family accessing the Plex server to watch movies and tv shows. Oh and it's running Windows 10 :).

The PiKvm is from Geekworm and the model is a KVM-A8 PCIe version. It uses the PiKvm version 3 software that runs on Arch linux its flashed to a micro sd card so its always in read only mode so that the files don't get corrupted if there is a sudden powerloss. Once it's booted there is a small screen that displays the ip address. You can then access it through a web browser login in with the default username and password go to the terminal and there are instructions to change the root password and admin password. After that you can login via ssh and change the ip address and port if needed, then you can insert your domain name and ssl certificates which is quite easy cause it used nginx as the webserver aslo forward the port in your router. Then you can now access it from anywhere in the world with a secure connection. It works like IPMI with ATX capabilities you can poweroff and power on go into the bios, long press and short press the power button as if you are sitting infront of your server.

I have a dedicated NextCloud server running on a Minix Z-100-0db fanless mini pc with a N-100 intel processor and 16gb DDR4 memory with a 1TB Crucial NVME ssd. I did not like the passive cooling of the computer I still fine that the processor and the NVME drive ran to hot for comfort, so I took off the button panel and tie strapped two 120mm fans to either side and powered them from usb. Now it doesn't cross 38 degrees celcius. I used Ubuntu 24.04 and installed the snap package durning the setup process. In my opinion the snap package works with no issues rather than installing the individual packages. It just works.

My TrueNas server is only used for backing up my important data from the media server and the NextCloud server. So I use Goodsync Pro to automatically backup the important data that's copied to the server. Even stuff that sent from my phone to NextCloud is sent to the Media Server then to the Truenas Server all automated and works seamlessly. The only additional apps I run on the TrueNas Server is WireGuard and FlieBrowser. With the TrueNas Scale you can import your ssl certs and any apps that you install if it has a webgui you can select the cert file and it will work with the app. I was always intimidated by TrueNas and found that it was always very difficult to do simple things, but this time around I found it to be alot eaiser and once everything it setup and running you can just forget about it. It runs on Debian so it's very solid.

My MeshCentral Server is now running on my Proxmox server on a virtual Ubuntu server because I used the MeLe Quieter 4C Mini Pc for a Home Assistant server instead. Running it on the proxmox server as a virtual machine is much better cause that server is one 24/7 already so it will save on power rather than running a seperate pc for MeshCentral.
My Proxmox server is on a MeLe Quieter 4C Mini Pc. It is currently running MeshCentral, VS Code Server 11 webservers for testing and it was just fun setting up the different LXC containers and installing apache or niginx and getting it to work. This is really good as because I can remotely log into this server from anywhere upload an iso and just spin up a new vm. I if something goes wrong all i have to do is reinstall which ever os or linux distro and start over. It's great for test different linux ditros or windows.

It's easy to setup just install just install any linux distro of your choice then run the command to install the vscode after installation you can edit the .ymal file to change the password, port and insert a ssl certificate. So now I can add content to my websites or edit them from anywhhere in the world with any device that has a internet browser. :)
