I have two laptops a Lenovo ThinkPad x1 Carbon 7th gen with a 256gb nvme ssd and 8gb ram and, intel i5-10210u 1.6GHz to 2.11GHz processor and intel UHD graghics 128mb. Carbon fibre and magnesium chassis running Windows 10 Pro. It works really well very thin, light and powerful enough for my needs. I usually use this laptops for configuring anything concerning my linux servers where i have to use WinScp, google alot and watch youtube videos to figure it out.

I also own a Macbook Pro mid 2014 13 inch laptop is has an intel core i5 processor 2.6GHz that boost to 3.1GHz with 8gb ram, a 256gb nvme ssd and intel iris graghics. I used this laptop mainly for djing before covid, then after covid I don't really dj anymore so I use it now for browsing the internet and coding. It quite outdated now and most apps don't work on it anymore because of the old os. I really want to upgrade to a newer Macbook Pro but not sure as yet if i will really need it.
So today 15th of June 2025 I decided to try open-core legacy patcher to upgrade this macbook pro from the last macos that apple would allow it to run which is Big Sur, to the latest macos 15 Sequoia. So far it's running quite nice and I'm not getting an error when trying to install software anymore saying that the os is to old.
